Express Entry
What to know about Express Entry
Express Entry is the online system that Canada uses to manage applications for permanent residency for skilled workers who intend to come to Canada. The program is a point-based system that takes into consideration the human capital factors (age, level of education, years of work experience, English/French language proficiency), spouse or common-law partner factors, skill transferability factor and adaptability. Provinces and territories can also recruit candidates from the Express Entry pool through the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) to meet local labor market needs.
