Provincial Pathway

What is Provincial Nomination Program (PNP)?

This is one of Canada`s permanent residency routes that offers individuals the opportunity to immigrate and live in Canada and eventually become permanent residents. This Program is designed for workers who have the required skills, education and work experience to contribute to the economic growth of a specific province or territory and have the intention of residing in that province.

Each province or territory has its own pathway/streams that is used to target certain groups of individuals who meet the requirements apart from Quebec.  For example, provinces and territories may target:

  1. Students
  2. Business people
  3. Skilled workers
  4. Semi-skilled workers.

The application process varies depending on which provincial nominee program you are applying to. To learn more about each provincial nominee program, please scroll to the end of this page to book a consultation with us

Below is a list of the various Canadian provinces and territories and the different nominee programs that they offer.

Streams for Entrepreneurs:   The ANIP has three streams for entrepreneurs who plan to live in Alberta and buy or start a business in the province.

The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) seeks recent graduates, skilled workers, business people, and their families with the intention and ability to successfully settle and economically establish themselves in Manitoba as permanent residents.

Skilled Worker Stream: is locally driven and based on the needs of Manitoba employers. They select internationally trained and experienced workers who have the skills needed in the local labour market and nominate them to receive Canadian permanent residency to settle and work in Manitoba.

International Education Stream: This stream for Manitoba graduates is dedicated to providing international students graduating in Manitoba with faster pathways to provincial nominations as well as meeting the needs of industry.

Business Investor Stream: This stream allows Manitoba to recruit and nominate qualified business investors and entrepreneurs from around the world who have the intent and ability to start or purchase businesses in Manitoba.

If you are nominated, your next step is to apply to the federal government through IRCC. They make the final decision on who becomes a permanent resident. The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) is currently accepting applications under the following streams:

The following OINP streams are now open through the OINP Expression of Interest system
